The cotton is so beautiful this year! We’ve just started shooting our Cotton Mini-Sessions and we have to share this amazing session with y’all. Jess and Tony were one of our last sessions of the night and we captured the most amazing images in the last minutes before the sun set. Since they were celebrating their 10th anniversary Jess decided to book two time slots so they could have a family session and a couples session.
This year our Cotton Field mini-sessions are 15 minutes long and that gives us enough time to get family photos, a few individual shots of each of the kids and one or two couple photos, but when you’re celebrating your 10th anniversary like Jess and Tony it’s always a good idea to book an additional session just for couples portraits! Just scroll down and look at the gorgeous images we captured.
Last year the rain was not our friend and the farmers lost a lot of money in damaged crops. We’re so grateful to our friends who let us use their fields for our sessions, and so thankful for our amazing clients that respect the livelihoods of the farmers and help us keep their fields clean and undamaged.
If you’ve been on the fence about booking your session this year we have a couple empty time slots left for tomorrow, Labor Day! The farmers are being cautious after last year’s rain and they’re already harvesting so tomorrow is the best time to do a session! While we do a lot of evening sessions if your family are early birds lets schedule the session for first thing in the morning, the light is even more beautiful right after sunrise.
It was so hard trying to narrow down the images from our time with Jess and Tony for this blog post. There are so many more photos I am dying to share from this session, and all of the rest of our sessions so far. Make sure you’re following us on Facebook and Instagram so you can see more images from this year’s crop. Reach out to us ASAP if you want one of our last available session times! You can call at 714-244-7696 or e-mail email@example.com.
Life is short and there are only so many hours in the day. It’s important to spend them with people we love, celebrating the beautiful relationships we’re so lucky to have.
